The winner is Emma Couture, a graduate student in environmental management and climate change at the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n<p>Emma&#8217;s project tackles an environmental conflict in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, where citizen criticism of a company&#8217;s activities has given rise to a complex neighborhood dispute. Emma&#8217;s in-depth case study sheds light on the ins and outs of the conflict and provides tools for analyzing and understanding tensions. Her aim is to enable stakeholders and project managers to react more knowledgeably and effectively in similar situations in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, her research project will take the form of a book entitled &#8220;Un halo dans la nuit &#8211; Analyser et comprendre un conflit pour mieux intervenir&#8221; and is being carried out in collaboration with Marie-\u00c8ve Maill\u00e9, lecturer at the CUFE.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, in the spring, TES <a href=\"https:\/\/transfertconsult.ca\/blogue-expertise\/transfert-environnement-et-societe-fait-un-don-de-75-000-a-luniversite-sherbrooke-pour-former-la-releve-en-acceptabilite-sociale\/https:\/\/transfertconsult.ca\/blogue-expertise\/transfert-environnement-et-societe-fait-un-don-de-75-000-a-luniversite-sherbrooke-pour-former-la-releve-en-acceptabilite-sociale\/\">donated $75,000<\/a> to the Centre universitaire de formation en environnement et en d\u00e9veloppement durable de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (CUFE) for the creation of the Bourse Andr\u00e9 Delisle en participation citoyenne to support students working on issues related to citizen participation and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its commitment to supporting the next generation of researchers, and advances in the fields of social acceptability and public participation, TES\u2019 philanthropic contribution is intended to help train the next generation of specialists and foster the emergence of new talent.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a cash bursary, recipients of the Andr\u00e9 Delisle Bursary receive professional coaching from members of TES\u2019 team.
