Montreal, October 8th, 2024 – Transfert Environnement et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 is delighted to announce that Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Gauthier has joined its permanent team as Executive Advisor on Governance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After 8 months as a Public Participation collaborator, it became clear to the management team that Ms. Gauthier’s role was set to grow.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With her exceptional background and in-depth knowledge of our niches of expertise and sectors of intervention, Ms. Gauthier will play a key role for Transfert’s team and customers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A member of the Institut de m\u00e9diation et d’arbitrage du Qu\u00e9bec (IMAQ) and an accredited mediator since 2017, Ms. Gauthier has also been a member of the Canadian Impact Assessment Agency’s Science and Knowledge Technical Advisory Committee since 2022. Her talents as a facilitator, as well as the relevance of her strategic advice, have already won over our teams and clients, who are delighted to work with her.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before joining Transfert, she worked for ten years at the Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement (BAPE), where she held various positions, including that of interim president from 2022 to 2023.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, from 2011 to 2020, she was a lecturer in the Department of Legal Sciences at the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, where she taught municipal law, environmental law and major risk management. <\/span>She was also a lecturer at the Facult\u00e9 de l’am\u00e9nagement de l’Institut d’urbanisme de l’Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al during this period.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her knowledge of the regulatory and legislative framework, along with the Quebec and federal assessment processes, and her participation in a dozen commissions of inquiry, make her an invaluable asset to our team.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Transfert is pleased that Marie-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Gauthier has chosen to devote her energy and great talents to its mission full-time, and thanks her warmly for her commitment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
