The result of our team\u2019s sincere commitment to reconciliation, this Plan embodies our desire to root and structure our approaches and practices in a coherent and realistic roadmap for the coming years.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cFor more than a decade, Transfert\u2019s commitment to reconciliation has been firmly anchored in the company\u2019s DNA. The adoption of our Reconciliation Plan is the logical continuation of this commitment, as we respond to the call to action issued to all companies in the country by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada in 2015,\u201d explains Benoit Th\u00e9berge, Project Director and Partner \u2013 Indigenous Relations.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThrough our daily work in public participation and community relations, we have the privilege of actively working with several Indigenous communities across the land. For the past 5 years, we have been offering our colleagues and clients training and coaching so that they can be better allies in reconciliation. In 2022, we joined our voices for the Government of Quebec to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, affirming our support for sustainable development that respects these communities,\u201d he continues.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our plan reflects our ongoing commitment to reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples. We are determined to play an active role in this long-term process and contribute to a fairer future.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Based on 8 objectives and 21 actions, our Reconciliation Plan will structure, formalize, and accelerate the adoption of best practices, and, we hope, inspire other companies to act in favour of reconciliation by adopting similar plans.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cIf we mobilized our team around this important approach, it is because it is in line with our values. In addition, with our B Corp certification, we are committed to increasing our impact, in particular by adopting structured measures to reach our goal. Our Reconciliation Plan is therefore the clear expression of our <a href=\"https:\/\/transfertconsult.ca\/en\/about\/\">values<\/a> \u200b\u200band <a href=\"https:\/\/transfertconsult.ca\/en\/commitment\/\">commitments<\/a>.\u201d explains Alexandra Boileau, Director of Operations and Partner.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Before its adoption, our Plan was submitted for comments and improvements to the team at Ashukan Institute with whom we collaborate.
