A seasoned expert in public participation and community relations, Anik Pouliot is recognized for her ability to create meaning at the heart of complex contexts. Partner at Transfert since 2024 and Vice-President Expertise since 2025, she brings to bear the talents and know-how of our interdisciplinary team, which she helps promote throughout Quebec and beyond.
In her role as Project Director, she plays a key role in the strategic accompaniment of her clients and their stakeholders, particularly in the development of projects in community relations contexts that require a robust approach to social acceptability.
With more than 20 years of experience, Anik combines a multidisciplinary strategic vision with a practice rooted in the realities of the local environment and communities. She has played a central role in over a hundred public consultations at the Office de consultation publique de Montréal and at Transfert, in fields as varied as renewable energies, waste management, mining development, urban planning and land management.
Anik regularly operates in contexts where tensions are high, expectations divergent and points of reference sometimes difficult to identify. Her approach is marked by a keen ability to listen and to pinpoint issues at stake, even when consensus is elusive. She helps our teams identify informed courses of action and structure their approach with integrity, while working with stakeholders to define the conditions of acceptability.
A specialist in community communications, preparation for public hearings (notably before BAPE) and the design of effective participatory processes, she is also a facilitator appreciated for her calm, benevolent approach and ability to transform obstacles into innovation opportunities.
