As a Communications Advisor at Transfert, he brings his many talents, intellectual agility, and deep curiosity to the organization’s mission: building bridges. In this role, he contributes to the design and implementation of internal and external communication strategies that enhance the strategic positioning of both Transfert and its clients.
Originally from Chibougamau and based in Montréal, Simon brings a keen understanding of environmental issues and the essential role of strategic communications in fostering meaningful relationships with communities—key to the social acceptability and harmonious development of complex projects. With over a decade of diverse experience, Simon has built his career at the crossroads of strategic communications, institutional visibility, and stakeholder engagement. His journey has taken him through community, philanthropic, and scientific organizations in Québec and abroad, always with one constant: putting communications at the service of impact.
During his studies in Communication and Political Science at the Université de Montréal, Simon began his professional path at the Château Ramezay Museum, where he worked as a Development and Communications Advisor. There, he helped showcase Montréal’s heritage through public outreach and media relations initiatives, including organizing the Museum’s 120th anniversary celebration.
At the Fondation du Grand Montréal, where he oversaw digital and media communications, he distinguished himself through his contributions to the Vital Signs report.
He then joined Adoc Talent Management, an international consulting firm, where he led communications for the Montréal, Paris, and Brussels offices, notably coordinating the launch of PhDétectives, a research project on scientists’ career paths in Canada.
In 2023, driven by his interest in research and innovation ecosystems, Simon joined CATALIS Québec, where he played a central role in promoting the recherchecliniquequebec.com portal, drawing on his expertise in SEO, user experience, and online visibility.
