With her uncommon dynamism, Stéphanie Houde approaches every project with enthusiasm and professionalism. With a wealth of experience in the field, her approach is always grounded in reality and adapts well to the needs of our clients and communities.
Passionate about sustainable development and regional economic development, Stéphanie holds a bachelor’s degree in agro-economics from Université Laval.
Originally from the Outaouais region, she now lives in the Nord-du-Québec region, in Chapais, where she settled after her studies to actively contribute to the region’s economic development.
Before joining Transfert, she was Director of Economic Development at the Chapais Economic Development Corporation, where she carried out a number of mandates, notably in relation to the circular economy, maximizing economic spinoffs, bio-food and tourism issues. She has also sat on a number of roundtables and boards of directors, as well as maximization and liaison committees for mining companies.
Her work in spearheading the creation of Chapais’ circular economy roadmap earned the town one of the Initiatives Circulaires 2022 awards. In recognition of her contributions, Stéphanie also received the Relève municipale award at the Gala du Mérite municipal in 2022.
Recognized for her dynamism, her creativity in finding solutions and her in-depth understanding of stakeholder issues, Stéphanie has decided to pursue her career at Transfert, as she is convinced that this is the best way to put her skills to good use in promoting the harmonious development of Quebec.
