Véronique Yelle draws on solid experience in forest sciences, public participation, and Indigenous relations to help deliver sustainable, large-scale projects.
A forest engineer with a Ph.D. in Forest Sciences, Véronique Yelle has more than 20 years of experience in natural resource management and social acceptability.
She has held senior advisory roles within several Québec government departments and as a consultant, contributing to major projects in energy, forestry, and wildlife management. Her work has supported decision-making on energy planning, woodland caribou protection, conservation, and sustainable forest practices.
Véronique has led participatory processes at both the provincial and local levels, engaging First Nations, Inuit, regional stakeholders, and the public. Her academic research, published in peer-reviewed journals, explores how people perceive forest management and what shapes their acceptance of resource development.
With extensive on-the-ground experience and a clear understanding of social and environmental dynamics, Véronique builds trust between communities, institutions, and project teams to support lasting and responsible development.
