Montreal, 17 June 2025 – Transfert is pleased to announce the appointment of Isabelle Brûlé as Project Director. With over 10 years’ experience of working with Indigenous communities, Isabelle is well-known for her ability to build lasting relationships based on trust, and to facilitate dialogue in complex environments.

Isabelle is an accredited mediator. She has a background in Dispute Prevention and Resolution. She combines rigor, active listening and cultural sensitivity. She supports both organisations and communities. Her addition to our team will bolster our expertise in community relations, social acceptability and performance.

Throughout her career, she has held strategic roles with the Long Point First Nation and the Tribal Council of the Algonquin Anishinabeg Nation. She has led sustainable development projects, coordinated community consultations, conducted multisectoral negotiations, and designed environmental management plans that respect First Nations values.

Based in the Mauricie region, she has a particular interest in collaborative approaches to environmental and social issues, mediation, and the self-determination of Indigenous peoples.

“We are delighted to welcome Isabelle to our team. Her approach is deeply human, and rooted in respect, creativity, and the co-construction of sustainable solutions that respond to the concrete needs of our clients, who increasingly turn to us for guidance in building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities,” said Alexandra Boileau, Partner and Vice President of Operations.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Transfert. The company’s mission—building bridges—perfectly aligns with my own approach and aspirations. I look forward to helping foster authentic, constructive relationships with communities, working alongside such a skilled and genuinely caring team. I will also be contributing to the implementation and development of the company’s Reconciliation Plan and supporting other organizations in adopting the best practices in this area and developing similar plans. There is a clear and growing need for this work, across Quebec and beyond,” said Isabelle Brûlé, Project Director.
