Marie-Eve Martin is a leading expert in social impact assessment and monitoring. With nearly twenty years of experience, she has mastered provincial and federal assessment procedures and guides clients through every step, from early analysis to the implementation of compliance measures.
Marie-Eve combines technical expertise, strategic insight, and a human-centered approach. As a Project Director and Partner at Transfert, she coordinates multidisciplinary teams, ensures the quality and relevance of deliverables, and maintains clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
A member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec, she has led or contributed to more than twenty environmental impact studies in sectors such as energy and passenger transportation, mining, waste management, port development, and urban planning. She designs and delivers participatory processes tailored to Indigenous and non-Indigenous contexts, and produces rigorous socio-economic analyses that strengthen decision-making.
Her academic background—a Master’s in Urban Planning and a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from Université de Montréal—gives her a deep understanding of social, cultural, and territorial issues. This foundation helps her foster constructive dialogue with communities, including Indigenous peoples, and align project objectives with community needs and aspirations.
