Montréal, October 21 – Transfert is pleased to welcome Véronique Yelle, Ph.D., as Project Director. Known for her meticulousness, collaborative leadership, and advanced expertise in social acceptability, Véronique will play a key role in driving forward strategic, community-focused projects and enhancing Transfert’s know-how in community relations and social performance.

“Véronique will be a major asset for Transfert. Her expertise in social acceptability in the natural resources sector, her experience working with Indigenous peoples, and her in-depth understanding of institutional and government environments all enrich our approach and strengthen our capacity to fulfill our mission: building bridges between project initiators and communities,” said Alex Craft, Founding Partner and Chair of the Board.

With a background in forest engineering and a Ph.D. in forest sciences, Véronique’s academic work focused on social acceptability in forest management. Over the past twenty years, she has gained extensive field experience across the natural resources, energy, wildlife management, and forestry sectors. Throughout her career, she has supported several Québec government departments in integrating social, territorial, and environmental dimensions into plans, programs, strategies, and policies. This work has given her a deep understanding of how public policy, communities, and sustainable development intersect.

“Joining Transfert is an opportunity to contribute to a mission that truly resonates with me: strengthening dialogue between project initiators and communities. I’m excited to bring my experience to a team recognized for its quality of engagement and its human-centered vision of sustainable development,” says Véronique Yelle.

The entire Transfert team warmly welcomes Véronique and wishes her great success in her new role.
