In this B Corp month, we joyfully celebrate our first anniversary of B Corp certification! The result of a rigorous process, obtaining this certification demonstrates our commitment to sustainable practices.
Some of the initiatives from the past year that align with this commitment
- Indigenous Peoples Reconciliation Plan: In collaboration with the Ashukan Institute, we have adopted a structured Reconciliation plan with 8 objectives and 21 actions to formalize and accelerate the adoption of best practices.
- Pro bono Policy: This year again, we supported three projects.
- Growth and Development: Four new associates have been appointed.
- New Collaborations: We have established three new partnerships, one with the Ashukan Institute, one with Seize 03, and one with Voconiq.
B Corp certification is not an end in itself; it reflects the strength of our current commitments and our determination to go even further. We are proud of what we have accomplished over the past year and are excited to continue on this path of social responsibility, creating a positive and lasting impact on society and the environment. B Corp certification is overseen by B Lab, a non-profit organization that evaluates companies based on rigorous criteria of social and environmental performance, governance, and transparency. It recognizes companies that integrate social responsibility into their DNA, going beyond profits as a measure of performance and considering the impacts of their activities on the environment and society. It is a movement whose members are committed to using business as a force for good. The certification must be renewed every three years to ensure the continuous improvement of the company.
